**大翻車 (Dà Fānchē, "Large Wheeling"** — also written **大番車**, and nicknamed the **"Big Water Wheel")** is a **51-posture** core empty-hand form of [**Seven Star Praying Mantis**](https://wulin.openmindspace.org/seven-star-mantis), from the canon of [**Wong Hon Fan (黃漢勛)**](https://wulin.openmindspace.org/wong-hon-fan), Luo Guangyu line. The name is the image: the body **wheels like a great water-wheel** (翻車) — the form revolves the big rolling, chopping, and "windlass" actions around the centre, repeating its core engine (登山大番車 → 雙封手統捶 → 登山右劈捶 → 馬式偷心捶) through changing facings. It is the larger half of a pair with the rare **小翻車 ("Small Water Wheel")**.
