Descending Eagle Palms (落鷹掌) — Seven Star Mantis
On this page
落鷹掌 (Luò Yīng Zhǎng, "Descending Eagle Palms") is a 41-posture palm-method form of Seven Star Praying Mantis, from the canon of Wong Hon Fan (黃漢勛), Luo Guangyu line. Built on the image of the stooping eagle, it leads with the palm rather than the fist — covering, pushing, reverse, massing, rolling, and "leaking" palms — and is the natural companion to its sibling palm-form, 飛雁掌 (Flying Goose Palms).
