Plum Blossoms Falling (梅花落拳) — Seven Star Mantis

Updated 2026-06-08

梅花落拳 (Méihuā Luò Quán, "Plum Blossoms Falling") is a 53-posture empty-hand form of Seven Star Praying Mantis, published by Wong Hon Fan (黃漢勛) in 1947, Luo Guangyu line. The longest of the branch's Plum Blossom (梅花) sets, its name pictures falling plum petals — a long, continuous routine that scatters the mantis vocabulary across changing lines.
