Small Frame Postures (小架式拳) — Seven Star Mantis
On this page
小架式拳 (Xiǎo Jiàshì Quán, "Small-Frame Postures") is a 38-posture empty-hand form of Seven Star Praying Mantis, published by Wong Hon Fan (黃漢勛) in 1947, Luo Guangyu line. The "small frame" (小架) is the compact-stance training set — short, tight postures for close-range work — the close-frame counterpart to the expansive 大架式拳 (Large-Frame Postures).
