title: Plum Blossom Hands (梅花手拳) — Seven Star Mantis
---

**梅花手拳 (Méihuā Shǒu Quán, "Plum Blossom Hands")** is a **32-posture** hand-method form of [**Seven Star Praying Mantis**](https://wulin.openmindspace.org/seven-star-mantis), published by [**Wong Hon Fan (黃漢勛)**](https://wulin.openmindspace.org/wong-hon-fan) in **1947**, Luo Guangyu line. One of the branch's Plum Blossom (梅花) sets — companion to the longer [Plum Blossom Fists](https://wulin.openmindspace.org/plum-blossom-fists) — it drills the hooking, threading, and filling-punch vocabulary in the rounded, scattering pattern the plum-blossom image names.
