  **How to read martial-arts video — three cautions.**
  1. **Archival footage of named historical masters is rare and precious.** Most "old master" clips are actually their *students* or modern lineage holders — valuable, but not the man himself.
  2. **No motion film exists at all** of several giants — **Li Shuwen (d. 1934), Wang Xiangzhai, Luo Guangyu, Li Ziming, Gu Ruzhang** — only photographs. Any "footage" of them is reconstruction or misattribution.
  3. **AI fabrication is now common.** At least one widely-shared "rare historical film of Li Shuwen" is **AI-generated** (tagged 含AI生成內容). Treat undated "archival" uploads skeptically; we tag items **⭐ archival / [demo] / ⚠️ unverified** accordingly.
